![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The Eye of the World was less of an LOTR clone than, say, The Sword of Shannara (and please don’t try to convince me to do a Shannara re-read when I’m in the middle of two different huge re-reads that will take me the better part of a couple of years, I really don’t need to do three even though I’d like to talk about Garet Jax, the introduction of the Wishsong, and the Heritage tetrology). Today we’re going to talk about The Great Hunt, which is the second book in the series and the one which begins to break away from the Lord of the Rings thing that The Eye of the World was playing with.
